Getting closer...............

Hey guys, I know we don't post a lot but we have had some good things happen. We went to a workshop with our adoption agency and heard the most amazing adoption stories, just ask us and we would be more than glad to share!
At the workshop, our hearts were changed more than we ever thought that they would be. For me, I just realized how everything is in God's control. His timing. He has the baby for our family. He will work out all the logistics. I don't have to worry. I heard story after story about what God did to work out every adoption, not what people did to make it happen.
For Brandon, he has said, it changed his mind on open adoption. He now views this as an oppurtunity to minister to the birthparents and thier families as well, if possible. We can be a light to them and love on them through this process. Since we are having an open adoption, we will hopefully get the chance to do that!
Another thing that is going on, is that we are having fundsraisers this month to help raise the needed money for our adoption fees. We know that God will bless our efforts and we are so blessed to work with our brothers and sisters in Christ! We know that we will be blessed through their help and that God will bless them as well.
Just keep praying for a quick return on some goverment papers that we need! God is working in our hearts, preparing us all the time for changes that are ahead..................

Hey Everyone! Thanks for visiting our blog! It is Brandon and mine's first Real attempt at a blog, so we will do our best. This is a very exciting time in our lives and we are so happy to get to share our adoption experience with you.

If you haven't read our adoption letter and would like to, please message Brandon or I, and we will get it sent to you! The letter highlights some of our prayer and financial needs. Please pray for the birth-mom, the baby, and for us! We can't wait to see the sweet baby that God has picked out for us!

Also follow us as we will update about our fundraisers and about our journey to our financial goals for the adoption.

As I write this now, I am so excited! I know there will be ups and downs along this way, but God is in control and I am so grateful to get to lean on Him. It is for sure increasing my prayer life and dependence on Him!

Adding to the Craigs!

It's March 21,2011. We are getting our support letter ready and praying! I(Autumn) have had a couple more confirmations in my heart from God that He will provide for us in this process. While I was at the crisis pregnancy center today, folding baby clothes, God was telling me "See how I provide clothes for this organization? See how this shelf was empty but now it is filling up with clothes? I will provide for you as well." It comforted me. He has also done a few other things by putting some friends in our lives to encourage us over the past few weeks.....God is so awesome!
